He is excited for the next chapter with the Eagles, especially after becoming a $255 million man. His contract was a five-year deal that included $179.3 million guaranteed. He is expected to receive $110 million guaranteed at signing and his contract has a no-trade clause, the first in franchise history. Hurts got selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, but he’s quickly shown Philadelphia he is the guy that can potentially win a Super Bowl. He came close in 2022, delivering the Eagles to the NFL Championship Game. Hurts posted 304 passing yards, 70 rushing yards, and four scores but fell short to Patrick Mahomes.

He likes his paycheck, but Hurts wants a Super Bowl ring. The 24-year-old carries a maturity beyond his years.
