Louisiana TE Traville Frederick Jr. excited to camp at Alabama

Traville Frederick

Traville Frederick returned to Alabama for A-Day after earning an offer from the Crimson Tide earlier this month.

Frederick attends Jeanerette Senior High School in Louisiana, and he is currently committed to Tulane.

The Louisiana product received an Alabama offer from Nick Saban earlier this month. He got back to Tuscaloosa to watch the Tide’s spring game, which included several tight ends standing out on the offensive side of the football.

“It was tight-end heavy,” said Frederick. “I love it. Everyone knows what they are supposed to do and how they are supposed to do it, really structured.”

Frederick planned to camp at Alabama the moment he earned an offer from the Tide. He is looking forward to showing Alabama’s coaching staff he is a complete tight end this summer.

“I want to show I can do all things on the field at tight end,” Fredrick said. “I’m not just limited to H-back or Y.”

Frederick is listed at 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds. He is an athletic prospect with experience lining up out wide and as an in-line tight end. The Louisiana product is also an impressive route runner, who displays a feel for where to it down in zones.
