Alabama fans had their eyes on several freshmen last week during the A-Day game.

Kadyn Proctor, a five-star offensive lineman from Iowa, was one of them.

The 6-foot-7, 354-pounder dominated on the second-team unit. Proctor enrolled early in the Crimson Tide’s 2023 class following an exceptional athletic tenure at Southeast Polk High School. He excelled in football, basketball, and track.

Proctor did not allow the quarterback to be touched for a sack from his side during the spring game. He assisted freshman running back Justice Haynes to two rushing touchdowns and quarterback Ty Simpson to 58 yards rushing. Crimson Tide supporters were blown away by Proctor’s massive size. He has an opportunity to possibly take the starting left tackle position from Elijah Pritchett (redshirt freshman) if the Tide chooses not to flip JC Latham to left tackle. If it keeps Latham at right tackle, Proctor would serve well at left tackle. Many fans took to social media to express how impressed they are with Proctor’s size.
