Alabama football’s 2024 quarterback commit, Julian Sayin is looking forward to watching Alabama’s newest quarterback addition and fellow California product, Tyler Buchner, in Tuscaloosa in the future.
Buchner announced his commitment to Alabama Thursday after entering the transfer portal earlier this week.
Sayin, who has been committed to Alabama since November, feels a fifth quarterback with multiple years of eligibility remaining in Alabama’s quarterback room does not impact his commitment.
“It is not really impacting my decision,” Sayin told Touchdown Alabama. “I have a good relationship with him, and I am excited to watch him this year.”
Both Buchner and Sayin have trained under QB Mentor, Danny Hernandez, out of Los Angeles. Bryce Young also trained and played under Hernandez.
The Tide last hosted Sayin over the weekend for A-Day. He admitted he liked what he saw from Alabama’s offense as a whole during the Tide’s spring game. The five-star recruit shared his excitement to play with the skill players Alabama has committed after his Saturday visit.
“They are all superstar playmakers with the ball in their hands,” Sayin said. “I can’t wait to be throwing them passes in Bryant Denny.”
