Deondrae Ridden Jr. reported an offer from Alabama Wednesday.
Ridden is a 2025 four-star recruit of DeSoto High School in Texas. He holds 25 D1 offers after picking up his latest offer from the Crimson Tide. Ridden’s coach informed him of his offer from Alabama.
“I was excited when I found out,” Riden told Touchdown Alabama. “An Alabama offer is something I always dreamed of.”
The Texas product had high praise for the Alabama program as a whole after earning an offer from the Tide.
“Alabama is one of the best in the country, from developing players to winning championships,” Riden said. “In my opinion, Alabama got the full package. It is a place that you would have to consider going.”
Carter went on to give his thoughts on Nick Saban.
“Coach Saban is obviously one of the best in the game,” Riden added. “He does a very good job of running his team and getting players to the next level. I can’t wait to meet him and build a relationship.”
At 6-foot and 190 pounds, Riden is an explosive back, who feels he gives DeSoto’s offense a sparked when it needs it.
“I think I do a good job on helping my team get them tough yards, and I also bring like an energy spark with big runs,” said Riden. “I want to improve my knowledge of the game and want to add some more moves to my skill set.”
