Jahmyr Gibbs is now off the board as the third Alabama player in the first round.
He played one season for the Crimson Tide as a running back, but he was electric.
Gibbs, a transfer from Georgia Tech, had 926 yards rushing, 444 yards receiving, and ten total touchdowns.
The native Georgian helped the Tide to 11 wins, including a 45-20 victory over Kansas State in the Allstate Sugar Bowl. Gibbs projected as a middle to late first-round value, and he came off the board at No. 12 overall to the Detroit Lions.
He fits the mold of today’s running back, and Tide fans are excited to see him have success.
