The Las Vegas Raiders added to its defensive line by selecting Byron Young in the third round of the NFL Draft.
Young, who is the 70th overall pick, is the sixth Crimson Tide player to be drafted this weekend. He started all 13 games during his final season in Tuscaloosa and recorded 48 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, six quarterback pressures, two pass breakups and a forced fumble.
Young will now join an emerging defensive front for the Raiders led by Max Crosby and the team’s first-round pick Tyree Wilson.
