The playing styles of Bryce Young and Will Anderson are different, but their love for each other is the same.
Young and Anderson represented everything great about Alabama football.
Both came in the Crimson Tide’s 2020 recruiting class as five stars and made an impact. They grew into permanent team captains, had Nick Saban speak several times about how special they are, won several individual awards, set single-season school records, helped the Tide to a College Football Playoff National Championship (2020), pushed the program to two Southeastern Conference Championship titles, and were role models for people in the Tuscaloosa (Ala.) community and surrounding areas.
On Thursday, both had childhood dreams become realities. Young and Anderson were taken in the top three of the first round of the NFL Draft. Young got selected No. 1 overall by the Carolina Panthers. Anderson went No. 3 to the Houston Texans.
The two shared an emotional embrace after getting drafted.
