Alabama football has created a few historic moments in the NFL Draft.
All came in the first round on Thursday, including history for Bryce Young and Jahmyr Gibbs.

The quarterback/running back duo for the Crimson Tide became the third duo since 2000 to go in the top-15 of the draft.
Young went No. 1 overall to the Carolina Panthers while Gibbs came off the board at No. 12 to the Detroit Lions. Matthew Stafford and Knowshon Moreno, both Georgia alums, went in the top-15 of the 2009 draft. Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush, both USC alums, were selected in the top-15 of the 2006 draft. Young and Gibbs helped the Tide to an Allstate Sugar Bowl victory in 2022.
Young gave Nick Saban his first No. 1 overall pick in the common draft era.
Gibbs is Alabaa’s highest-drafted running back since Trent Richardson (No. 3 overall) in 2012.
