Timothy Merritt is making a name for himself on the recruiting trail by pulling in major Power Five offers.
Merritt is a sophomore at Parker High School. He holds 12 D1 offers, including offers from Ole Miss, Texas and others.
Merritt’s most recent offer came from Georgia Tech Monday. The 2025 recruit said he feels he still has work to do to improve after picking up several power five offers.
“It feels great to have some big-time offers, but I am not satisfied,” said Merritt. “I still have a lot of work to do.”
At 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, Merritt is a long defensive back with a solid frame. He shined when playing in man coverage as a sophomore for the Thundering Herd.
“I think I’m best at playing man to man,” Merritt said. “I feel like I can cover anybody. Coaches like my size and length for a defensive back.”
