Alabama football’s defensive line coach and Alabama area recruiter Freddie Roach made a stop by McAdory High School this week to check in on JaCorey Whitted and the Yellow Jackets.
Always humbling to have Freddie Roach in the building. Makes me look like a child. Lol. Roll Tide brother. @freddierch8 pic.twitter.com/rkeKMiT63S

Whitted is a 2024 four-Star tight end, who Alabama is heavily recruiting. Auburn and Tennessee are also heavily involved with the McAdory product. Roach has been in contact with the junior ‘every day.’

Alabama offered Whitted in January and immediately became a big player in his recruitment.
“I love everything about it,” Whitted said when discussing the Tide in January when Alabama offered him. “It has always been one of the colleges I have been wanting to go to ever since I was little. My dad and I use to always talk about it before he passed.”
An official visit to Alabama is something Whitted is heavily considering at the moment.
“I know Alabama one of them,” said Whitted when asked which schools he wants to officially visit.
At 6-foot-6 and approximately 220 pounds, Whitted has the skillset to be a versatile tight at the next level. He has the frame of a future tight end, but he looks really comfortable flexed out wide at wide receiver.
