Alabama football’s five-star athlete commit, Jaylen Mbakwe went out with a bang at the 6A State Championship Track Meet.
Mbakwe took home a gold model in three events. He finished first in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.70. He also won the 200-meter dash. Mbakwe’s impressive performance was capped off by helping Clay-Chalkville’s 4X100 team win state with a time of 42.30.

The five-star recently turned heads when he clocked in a 10.56 100-meter dash to qualify for the state championship finals. He did not run as fast Saturday but still took home the gold.
