A former University of Alabama star on the defensive line is looking to help the next wave of linemen.

Da’Ron Payne, a two-time College Football Playoff National Champion, is having his first elite high school offensive line/defensive line camp on June 17 at Shades Valley High School in Irondale, Ala. Payne attended Shades Valley and became a five-star prospect in the 2015 recruiting cycle. He chose the Crimson Tide and went on to become a first-round selection in the 2018 NFL Draft. Payne recorded a career-high 11.5 sacks and 18 tackles for loss in 2022 for the Washington Commanders.

He signed a four-year contract extension worth $90 million.

Coach T. Swift of the Winning Edge will help Payne with his camp. The cost is $100 per athlete and is open to the classes of 2024 through 2027. Payne’s camp will focus on agility drills, position work, and one-on-one competition.
