Amos is former defensive back at Louisiana-Lafayette. He has two years of eligibility remaining.
The former three-star entered the transfer portal on May. 1. He reported an offer from the Crimson Tide less than an hour after announcing he was entering the portal.

At 6-foot-1 and 189 pounds, Amos finished last season with 36 total tackles and eight pass deflections.
Alabama is currently looking at a pair of defensive backs in the transfer portal with heavy interest in Amos and UAB transfer, Jaylen Key.
