The University of Alabama football program has a new cornerback.
Trey Amos, a former Louisiana-Lafeyette player, has committed to the Crimson Tide from the transfer portal. The 197-pounder totaled 35 tackles in 2022 and had eight pass breakups (team-high). Amos has 60 career tackles and 13 pass breakups in two seasons for the Ragin’ Cajuns.

Nick Saban does not have much experience at cornerback after Kool-Aid McKinstry and Terrion Arnold, so it was huge for the Crimson Tide to land Amos from the portal. Fans are reacting on social media to Alabama getting an experienced defender.
