Former Alabama running back Brian Robinson Jr. sat down with Washington Commanders Senior Vice President of Media and Content, Julie Donaldson to discuss the excitement he has to be playing for new offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy. “Him being a former running back, easily helps him relate to the things he needs me to do. It’s easier for me to listen to him based off of his experience and the fact that we can relate to each other based off of playing the same position. I think that’s a little bit more of an advantage for the running backs on the team now, since our OC is a former running back, maybe he can scheme and find ways to give the running backs more opportunity based off what he see,” said Robinson Jr.
Playing for EB is cool.
Playing for EB as an RB is even cooler.

Before taking over the play-calling duties for the Commanders, Bieniemy won two Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs, and he’s been a hot coaching commodity over the last few seasons. Despite being a third-round pick for Washington, Robinson Jr. had over 800 yards and three touchdowns as a rookie, his game will likely improve even more with an offensive guru by his side.
