Woods attends Mill Valley High School in Shawnee, Kansas, and he garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites. The 2025 recruit holds 19 D1 offers, including offers from Notre Dame, USC and others.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pounder is a strong and physical player off the edge. He packs a powerful punch and can push offensive linemen at the high school level into the backfield. He uses his hands really well and is effective when playing in space.
