Alabama freshman quarterback Dylan Lonergan inks first NIL deal

A highly-touted freshman from Alabama’s 2023 recruiting class has a NIL opportunity.

Dylan Lonergan, a four-star quarterback from Georgia, landed a name, image, and likeness role from a body recovery product.

The 6-foot-2, 212-pounder was one of two quarterbacks the Crimson Tide signed in its recent class.

As an alumnus of Brookwood High School, Lonergan excelled in football and baseball. He had 3,932 total yards, including 3,412 passing yards and 32 passing touchdowns in his junior season. Lonergan had 39 total touchdowns as a junior. He had the best statistical performance of the quarterbacks in Alabama’s spring game, completing eight of 14 passes for 79 yards and a touchdown. Lonergan guided the Tide on an 80-yard drive that finished with a 6-yard touchdown pass to Justice Haynes.
