Alabama head coach Nick Saban has a freshmen class locked in on more than winning championships.
In the spring semester, the Crimson Tide had several members of its 2023 top-ranked signing class excel in the classroom.

Justice Haynes and Caleb Downs, two five-star athletes from Georgia, made the President’s List.

They earned All A’s, capturing a 4.0 grade point average. Haynes, a running back, is pushing to potentially be the No. 1 guy in the rotation while Downs looks to start in the secondary as a safety. Ty Lockwood (tight end), Olaus Alinen (offensive lineman), and Wilkin Formby (offensive lineman) made the President’s List also. Alinen looked impressive up front in the annual spring game.

Kadyn Proctor (offensive lineman), Dezz Ricks (cornerback), Antonio Kite (cornerback, redshirt freshman), and Cole Adams (wide receiver) made the Dean’s List. They earned A’s and B’s for the spring semester, carrying a 3.5 GPA or higher.
