The University of Alabama has five running backs that could start anywhere in college football.
Jase McClellan and Roydell Williams have on-field experience while Jam Miller possesses a different skill set.

Alabama also has two five-star freshmen on its roster, but does it have one ready to be impactful in the fall?
Justice Haynes, a native Georgian, is doing everything he can to show he is the part. No matter if he is in the gym or working with personal coaches/trainers, Haynes is consistently focused on becoming a complete player. The 5-foot-11, 200-pounder has his strength in order; however, his offseason work with Marquell Beckwith of Beckwith Sports Academy has been impressive.

Haynes has been perfecting his footwork, agility, bending with the ball, route-running, and pass-catching skills.

He brings the ability to start and stop in an instant while having the patience and vision to explode through holes. Haynes was a superstar at Buford High School, totaling 7,475 career rushing yards and 95 touchdowns. He showed Alabama fans something to be excited about, collecting three scores in the spring game. McClellan, a senior, was the Crimson Tide’s all-purpose back in 2021 before an injury against Ole Miss. The native Texan is regarded as the No. 1 guy in the rotation, but no one is keeping Haynes off the field.
His non-stop work ethic will make him important to watch in the fall.
