Jalen Milroe has been working this offseason, but so has Ty Simpson in his pursuit to win Alabama’s starting quarterback job.
Simpson, a former five-star, has been with QB Country and working with his dad.

He posted a video of Ty and his brother side-by-side crafting footwork, mechanics, and ripping the football.

He won a Class 2A State Championship for Westview High School, but the native Tennessean wants an opportunity to help the Crimson Tide capture a College Football Playoff National Championship. Simpson had a good showing in the spring game, but his stats could have been better if not for dropped passes by wide receivers. He is trying to beat out Milroe and hold off Tyler Buchner to become the guy for the Tide. Preseason camp is going to be fun to watch, especially with Simpson pushing as hard as Milroe.
