He was excited to see Alabama football grab him in its 2023 recruiting class, and now Will Anderson gets to watch the development of five-star linebacker Keon Keeley from afar.

Keeley, a native Floridian, was one of the nation’s top prospects as an edge rusher. He can be an outside linebacker or defensive end. Keeley arrives on campus as a summer enrollee and shared huge news on social media. He will wear No. 31 this season, which was Anderson’s number.
Anderson dominated in No. 31 throughout his career, totaling 34.5 sacks and 62 tackles for loss. He was a two-time Bronko Nagurski Award winner, two-time SEC Defensive Player of the Year, and two-time Unanimous First-Team All-American.
