Jaylen Mbakwe is expected to officially visit the Auburn Tigers this weekend.
Mbakwe attends Clay-Chalkville High School in Pinson, Alabama. He is one of Alabama’s seven 2024 commits.
Auburn is a program, who has continued to show heavy interest in Mbakwe. They got him on campus during the spring for practice.
Mbakwe returns to Auburn this weekend, but he is still firmly committed to Alabama. He recently said he shut down his recruitment.

“Just talking with Coach Saban, obviously the greatest coach to do it, my position coach, just sitting down having talks with him and talks with Coach T-Rob, talks with coach Roach,” Mbakwe told Touchdown Alabama. “It was just a great time to just shut everything down and focus on my senior season.”
One could assume it is going to be hard for Auburn to flip Mbakwe, but the Tigers are taking a swing at it.
