Alabama offered Cole in May during an unofficial visit.
“My initial feelings were shock and excitement,” Cole told Touchdown Alabama. “It’s a blessing to have the opportunity to play for such a historically elite program. When offered by a program like Bama, it changes your whole recruitment. They are a program that is known for developing players that go on to play in the NFL.”
Cole is listed at 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds. He is the type of smooth, fluid and athletic hybrid linebacker the Crimson Tide are prioritizing at the moment. He can play sideline to sideline, effectively drops back in coverage, has good closing speed and can make tackles in open space.
