4-Star RB Yasin Willis earns Alabama offer, schedules visit

Yasin Willis reported an offer from Alabama Monday.

Willis is a 2024 running back prospect out of St. Joseph Regional High School in New Jersey. He holds more than 20 offers at the moment. Multiple recruiting sites have him listed as a four-star recruit.

Willis’ Alabama offer came from the Crimson Tide’s offensive coordinator Tommy Reese. The rising senior said he felt a lot of different emotions when he realized he pulled in an offer from Alabama.

“I was in shock,” said Willis. “I didn’t know what to feel because that is something every kid wants to hear, that’s like a dream come true. I used to have conversations with my boys when I was younger, like “imagine Bama offer me” and it happened.”

The New Jersey product went on to give his thoughts on the Crimson Tide based on what he knows about them.

“I believe they are a really tough program and everything they do is very organized,” Willis said.

Willis will get an opportunity to learn more about Alabama next week when he visits on Monday.

At 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, Willis is a physical and elusive ball carrier. He can change direction with ease and has a deep bag of moves in space.
