He’s yet to play a single down of football for the University of Alabama, but freshman phenom safety Caleb Downs announced on Twitter that he will be helping the local youth in Tuscaloosa with the Tuscaloosa Youth Football Camp.

Downs will be joined by Alabama wide receiver Kobe Prentice, and current Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr, a Tuscaloosa native himself. The camp will take place Friday, June 16th from 10 am- 2 pm CDT at Hillcrest High School in Tuscaloosa, AL. It will be run by Next Gen Camps, a new up-and-coming camp that pairs the next generation of athletes with some of the top college athletes. Another goal for this camp is to teach the young athletes about all the NIL opportunities that they can help themselves with off the field.

Ages 6-18 are welcome to attend, registration will be $150 per athlete, and players will be grouped by position, age, and ability. There will be combine testing, a 7on7 tournament for skill position players, and a linemen challenge for all offensive and defensive linemen Autographs and Photos with Brian Robinson Jr. Kobe Prentice, and Caleb Downs will be available, and there will be prizes for competition winners throughout camp including camper of the day.
