Strayhorn is a 2025 offensive lineman out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He currently garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites.
The Crimson Tide offered Strayhorn in January. He left his latest visit to Tuscaloosa with many thoughts about the Alabama football program.
“Great development as a player and as a young man,” Strayhorn said when discussing what he feels the Alabama football program has to offer after his visit. “Being led by great mentors and alumni and a history of sending offensive linemen to the NFL.”

Strayhorn’s visit to Alabama was jam-packed.
“Me and my family had a meeting with Nick Saban, we toured the entire campus and all the facilities, we saw the brand new weight room and then ended it off with a photo shoot,” said Strayhorn.
During Stayhorn’s meeting with Saban, his dad Jason Strayhorn got to connect with his former coach as he played for Saban at Michigan State.
“It was great,” Strayhorn said. “This was my third time seeing him in person, and him and my dad have great chemistry because he coached him.”
Jason Strayhorn has shared with Kaden what’s it like to play under Saban.
“There is a program and a standard and you have to meet it every day and know the code in and out,” Strayhorn said. “It’s a brother hood.”
Alabama will look to continue to build its relationship with the 6-foot-4, 295-pounder.
