Sanders attends Brookwood High School in Alabama, and he was one of the state’s top 2024 offensive linemen recruits. He has Alabama, LSU and Mississippi State in his top three.
The Brookwood produce provided a breakdown of why he chose these three schools.
“LSU is a great school with a great environment,” Sanders said. “The coaches and players seem to interact well, much like at Alabama, neither seem to be much like the “machine” people say they are. As for Mississippi State, you get that smaller town feel and a great sense of a blue-color mentality but a super extreme football feel, definitely a place where football is important, but football is important to all these schools’ towns.”
All three schools expressed heavy interest in getting Sanders on campus this month to see him in camp. He was impressed at all three stops and earned offers. Alabama offensive line coach Eric Wolford had been working to build a relationship with Sanders months before.
“Coach Wolford texts me every other day, and we try to call every now and then,” Sanders told Touchdown Alabama in April. “I went to a visit there to see spring practice. It was a great visit. Coach Wilford likes me as far as I know. I like Alabama. They are pretty solid. I went to saw practice, and they were moving well. The line seem like they were in sync, of course, there were some kinks to work out in the early spring, but that didn’t stop the fact that they were getting their work in.”

The 6-foot-3, 295-pounder is a physical run blocker, who currently does not carry any bad weight. He moves well in space, but he wants to work on consistently being disciplined in his technique.
