The state of Alabama is known for producing football talent, but its 2025 recruiting class proves the state has become a must-visit hotbed for college coaches.
The state’s 2025 class is loaded from top to bottom at multiple positions. There is also still plenty of prospects, who have yet to emerge. Touchdown Alabama will take a look at individual 2025 prospects from the state in a continued series.
Here is Part 1:
Anquon Fegans – Safety – Thompson High School
USC commit
Fegans is one of the nation’s top safety prospects at 6-foot-1 and approximately 180 pounds. He plays with a natural feel for the position and seems to have a natural attraction to the football as the ball oftentimes finds its way into his hands. He is smooth and fluid when roaming over the top at safety, but the Thompson product also looks comfortable in man as a physical defensive back in press coverage, who can jump routes and take interceptions back for scores. Fegans is also an impressive open-field tackler, who consistently gets lower than ball carriers.

Ryan Williams – Wide Receiver – Saraland High School
Alabama Commit
Williams has all the tools needed to be a generational talent at wide receiver. He is ultra-talented and is already considered to be the No. 1 wide receiver in the 2025 class. Some feel he would be the No. 1 wide receiver in the country if he was a 2024 prospect. The Alabama commit stands at 6-foot-1 and weighs 171 pounds. He has elite verified speed with a PR of 10.48 in the 100-meter dash while running a sub-11.00 multiple times. Williams took home Mr. Football as a sophomore after he finished the 2022 football season with 1,641 receiving yards, 24 receiving touchdowns, 700 rushing yards and 15 rushing touchdowns.
“I love the Tide. I want to play where the best play…I am trying to recruit some more guys to come join us.”
Alabama 5-Star WR commit Ryan Williams @Ryanwms1 remains in love with Alabama. He updates his commitment to the Tide.

Micah DeBose – Offensive Lineman – Vigor High School
Georgia Commit
DeBose is an athletic and mean offensive lineman at 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds. The Vigor product has a towering frame with very little body fat, the type of kid that makes you take multiple looks at him when he walks passed you. The Georgia commit is a tenacious blocker, who continues to work up the field as the play progresses. He is consistent and shows great effort every play. It is normal to find the defender he is blocking on his back or somewhere down the field away from the play.
Vigor @VigorUfootball 5-Star OL Micah DeBose @MicahDebose remains solid with Georgia as programs like Alabama continue to show heavy interest.

Na’eem Offord – Defensive Back – Parker High Shool
Top Offers: Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State
Offord is the nation’s No. 1 cornerback prospect in the 2025 recruiting class. The Parker product is a dynamic athlete, who created big plays on both sides of the football for the Thundering Herd during the 2022 football season. He plays fast and physical every time he straps it up and gets on the gridiron. Offord is very instinctive as a defensive back with his exemplary reaction skills as he quickly can diagnose a play and attacks it. The five-star recruit is also a forceful tackler, who brings the boom when it’s time to make a hit.

Zion Grady – EDGE – Charles Henderson High School
Top Offers: Alabama, Georgia, Florida State
Grady proved to be a disruptive force for Charles Henderson during the 2022 football season. He wreaked havoc at every position the Trojans lined him up at along the defensive front. He is explosive off the edge and is a relentless pass rusher. He can also put his hand in the ground, move further into the interior of the defensive line, be physical and stop the run. The 6-foot-4, 235-pounder also operates well in space.

Jared Smith – EDGE – Spain Park High School
Top Offers: Alabama, Georgia, LSU
Smith is fun to watch for a variety of reasons with his massive 6-foot-6 frame. He doesn’t jump off on film because he has an explosive get-off and consistently gets by offensive linemen with his speed. Instead, he creates excitement with the way he uses his hand and with his impressive bag of rush moves. He can bend really well for a guy his size, and his upside remains very high with the strides he is making at the moment.

Anthony Rogers – Running Back – IMG Academy
Alabama Commit
Rogers is an athletic freak with natural weapons in his toolbox. He is such a special athlete if he was not playing football, he could audition to be a stunt double for an action movie. The 5-foot-8, 185-pounder has elite verified speed with a PR of 10.81 in the 100-meter dash as a sophomore. He can change directions in open space without having to gear down. The Alabama native is not the biggest back, but he does run with strength and power. He is not easily taken down and arm tackles will not work with his impressive contact balance. Rogers is also a weapon out of the backfield in the passing game.

KJ Lacey – Quarterback – Saraland High School
Texas Commit
Bryce Young 2.0 has been thrown around when discussing Lacey, and it is not as crazy as it seems. Lacey plays the game with a cool confidence that can be seen from the stands. Everything he does looks effortless and under control. He never seems to be too up or too down as he goes to work with his cool demeanor. The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder threw for 3,176 yards and 40 touchdowns last season, displaying pinpoint accuracy. His cool confidence transitions over to the gridiron as he stays calm when in trouble in the pocket and keeps his eyes downfield to create exciting off-script plays.
Saraland @GoSaraland 4-Star QB KJ Lacey @kjlacey7 can spin it, and he is one of the nation’s top 2025 signal callers.

Alvin Henderson – Running Back – Elba High School
Top Offers: Alabama, Georgia, Florida State
Henderson holds more than 70 offers, and it is not by mistake. The Elba running back is a dominant running back with the potential to be a great collegiate back in the future. At 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds, the 2025 recruit has an impressive frame and he runs with great vision and patience. He seems to have a natural feel for the position with his ability to make moves in a confined space. He is also a tough running runner with an impressive stiff arm. He will also lower his shoulder and run over would-be tacklers and has good speed.
It is hard to find a recruit in the country with more offers than 4 ⭐️ RB, Alvin Henderson @AlHenderson_1.

Jourdin Crawford – Defensive Lineman – Parker High School
Top Offers: Alabama, Auburn, Georgia
Birmingham has a rich tradition of developing defensive linemen, and Jourdin Crawford is next up. At 6-foot-2 and 295 pounds, Crawford is one of the hardest-working prospects in the country, not letting his offer list determine the amount of work he puts in. He may not have the length many college coaches crave at the moment, but he more than makes up for it with strength and mobility. He plays well in space, and he uses his hands really well to get by offensive linemen. Similar to Smith, he has some rush moves in his bag.
Parker HS 2025 DL Jourdin Crawford has the tools needed to help continue Birmingham’s production of great defensive lineman.
He holds offers from Alabama, Tennessee, Miami, Texas and others. https://t.co/TWshe2w8Vs pic.twitter.com/A42udIg1vF
