Elijah Melendez reported an offer from Alabama football after working out in Tuscaloosa Wednesday.

Melendez attends Osceola High School in Kissimmee, Florida, and he is a 2025 four-star recruit. He holds 23 offers with his latest Alabama offer.
The Crimson Tide’s defensive coordinator Kevin Steele and Robert Bala informed Melendez of his offer from Alabama.
“Coach Bala and the defensive coordinator told me they coming for me, and they want me and that I have an offer,” Melendez told Touchdown Alabama. “I smiled really big because it is the most prestigious offer there is. It’s amazing. Everything about it is top-tier. There is no better than that.”

Alabama’s staff expressed it was impressed with Melendez’s ‘physicality, size, speed, athleticism, aggression and motor’ when offering him.
The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder is a fluid and physical linebacker, who brings the boom when making contact. He has great read and reaction skills and can make tackles in open space. Osceola uses him as a running back as well to pick up some tough yards.
