Eric Winters is one of the nation’s most versatile 2025 recruits, and schools from across the country are interested in his services.
Winters boasts a national offer list with offers from USC, Georgia, Clemson and others. The Enterprise High School product garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites with some projecting him to be a linebacker and others feeling as if he will be a safety at the collegiate level. Either way, Winters is grateful for the ‘blessings’ he has earned because of what he can do on the gridiron.
“It’s all a blessing, but I feel like I have earned every single opportunity I have been given,” Winters said. “I am just trying to soak it all in right now and find the right place for me.”

At 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, Winters makes plays on both sides of the football for the Tigers. He can be found floating around the defense, making plays at all three levels. He can play inside the box as a linebacker or come downhill from his safety position to make plays close to the line of scrimmage. The 2025 recruit also possesses an impressive vertical and will go up and attack the football when playing over the top.
Winters has confidence in his versatility and feel for the game.
“I feel as if I can play a different spot every play, be successful and with my IQ, I feel like I am the smartest person every time I touch the field,” Winters told Touchdown Alabama.
