Nate Oats, the men’s head basketball coach for the Crimson Tide, crowned the No. 2 overall pick in Thursday’s NBA Draft as Brandon Miller came off the board to the Charlotte Hornets. Miller, the Freshman of the Year for the Southeastern Conference, pushed the Tide to an SEC Regular Season Championship, SEC Tournament Championship, and the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. Miller was a close friend to several players on the football team, and he joins Bryce Young in Charlotte, N.C.
