Hezekiah Harris earned an offer from Alabama football Saturday after camping under the Crimson Tide’s coaching staff.

Harris is a rising sophomore at Mae Jemison High School. He holds offers from Florida State, Tennessee, Penn State and others.

Nick Saban offered Harris after he impressed at camp Saturday. The Crimson Tide’s outside linebacker coach Coleman Hutzler pulled the 2026 recruit aside after the camp to escort him to Saban’s office.

“I was really shocked because it is hard to get offered by Alabama,” Harris told Touchdown Alabama. “It is a great program. They have a track record of development and producing NFL players.”

Harris is familiar with the process of getting an offer from Alabama. Two of his former teammates from his time at Anniston High School, Antonio Kite and Roq Montgomery, currently suit up for the Crimson Tide.

The 6-foot-5, 220-pounder is a long athlete with great potential as an edge-rusher. Alabama’s staff is impressed with his length and ability to get after the quarterback.

“My pass rush and ability to get to the QB,” Harris said when asked what Alabama likes about his game. “And my length. I have an 82-inch wingspan.”
