Trent Seaborn returned to Alabama for the Crimson Tide’s cookout recruiting event Friday.

Seaborn is a 2027 quarterback recruit, who attends Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama. He holds more than 10 offers, including offers from Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Oregon and others.

The rising freshman picked up an offer from the Crimson Tide last week. He returned to Tuscaloosa Saturday to further connect with Alabama’s coaching staff.

“It was so much fun,” Seaborn told Touchdown Alabama. “I had such a blast. I got to spend a lot of time hanging out with coach Rees and talking to some of the players. They had four quarterbacks in for this event: me, Julian Sayin, Bear Bachmeier and Jared Curtis. Those guys were all really cool, easy to talk to. Coach Saban had me and my family back in his office again just to talk some more and get to know each other more. This time all my siblings were with me, so they were pretty excited to meet him. Everything was great. I had a lot of fun.”

Seaborn spoke highly of the Alabama program when he earned an offer from Nick Saban earlier this month.

“Holding an offer from Alabama is incredible,” Seaborn said. “It’s a program that’s built on hard work, discipline, commitment and accountability. I think these are all values that you need in order to achieve greatness, and that’s what I’m striving for. But at the same time, as excited as I am for this offer and any offer I’ve gotten, I know enough not to get distracted or fixate on them and keep my focus on what it is right now that will really help me play in college in the future: working hard, developing, being a good teammate and student.”

At 6-feet and 178 pounds, Seaborn can spin it and deliver the deep ball with impressive accuracy. He has also shown the ability to make a variety of throws.
