Alabama football’s five-star athlete commit, Jaylen Mbakwe and the Clay-Chalkville Cougars will take center stage on ESPN during the 2023 football season.
Clay-Chalkville will take on Alabama 7A powerhouse, Thompson High School, on Sept. 28 for a Thursday night matchup in Alabaster, Alabama. The game will be broadcasted on an ESPN channel.

Mbakwe will just be one of the top talents participating in the game. Other Alabama targets expected to suit up are Mario Craver, Trent Seaborn and D’Angelo Barber. Both teams will bring other future college football talent into the matchup as well.
