Alabama football is known for having high-energy players in the Nick Saban era.
They may not necessarily be viewed as the best players/leaders on the team; however, they possess an intense energy that has the locker room focused on winning and mentally defeating the opponent.

Tony Brown is the best and most recent example of this. Brown, a former five-star in the 2014 recruiting class, brought a lot of talent and potential as a cornerback, but his best attribute was his intensity.
Brown’s energy, toughness, physicality, intensity, and passion helped Alabama capture a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2017, and he was on the 2015 CFP National Championship team roster. He had a way of making the opposition feel defeated before the game started.

Crimson Tide fans want that kind of energy on this year’s team, but who has that component?

Alabama has to locate a player with the intensity to pull everyone together. Hopefully, it will be found in fall camp.
