Alabama has its second scholarship quarterback to release summer photos to social media.

Ty Simpson, a redshirt freshman, did not receive much playing time in 2022. He performed well in spring practice and had some beautiful throws in the Crimson Tide’s A-Day game. Simpson, a former five-star recruit, has been training this summer in pushing to become the starting quarterback for the Tide.

In the photos he shared on Instagram, Simpson used the caption, “Be Uncommon.”
He is locked in on trying to take the starting job and lead Alabama football back to the College Football Playoff. Simpson has to beat out Jalen Milroe and Tyler Buchner, but he has the capability to do it.
