Sixteen Alabama players on 2023 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll

The University of Alabama football program finished 2022 with a victory over Kansas State in the Allstate Sugar Bowl.

After going through spring practice and having ten players drafted to the National Football League, the Crimson Tide received great news about its student-athlete off the field. According to the Southeastern Conference, sixteen Alabama football players made the 2023 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll. These players maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or above at the nominating institution and have been a member of the varsity team for the sport’s entire NCAA championship segment.

The players who made the SEC’s Academic Honor Roll are below.

-Isaiah Hastings (DL), Major: News Media

-Antonio Kite (DB), Major: Hospitality Management

-Kendrick Law (WR), Major: Consumer Sciences

-Danny Lewis Jr. (TE), Major: General Business

-Earl Little II (DB), Major: Hospitality Management

-Jamarion Miller (RB), Major: Hospitality Management

-Shawn Murphy (LB), Major: General Business

-Amari Niblack (TE), Major: Consumer Sciences

-Jake Pope (DB), Major: General Business

-Kobe Prentice (WR), Major: Communication Studies

-Shazz Preston (WR), Major: News Media

-Elijah Prichett (OL), Major: Consumer Sciences

-Ty Simpson (QB), Major: Communication Studies

* Elijah Brown (TE) also made the Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll for Alabama, despite transferring to Florida Atlantic.
