A four-star recruit from Alabama’s 2020 signing class has entered the NCAA transfer portal.

According to close sources, Touchdown Alabama Magazine has learned that Crimson Tide defensive lineman Jamil Burroughs is in the portal. He helped the Tide to a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2020, and the native Georgian was thought to be a marquee factor for this defense.
He had not been currently practicing with the team because of an incident where his behavior was detrimental to the team. Now, he is in the transfer portal. Burroughs would have been one of two starting defensive ends, but Alabama now looks for someone else to step up.
