Aeryn Hampton confirmed he is still rolling with his original plan of announcing a verbal commitment Friday, July 7.
Hampton made this announcement via Twitter.

The Texas product is set to choose between Alabama and Texas. Both programs hosted him for official visits last month.

Hampton has flashed on both sides of the football with his speed and effort at 5-foot-10 and approximately 175 pounds. He was an exciting playmaker to watch at wide receiver as a junior, pulling in 55 receptions for 1,161 yards and 13 touchdowns.
