Alphonse Taylor, a two-time national champion in 2012 and 2015, is the latest member of the Alma Bryant High School football coaching staff. The school announced the news via Twitter on Thursday. Taylor, a Mobile (Ala.) native, came to the Crimson Tide in its 2012 signing class as a four-star. He blocked for three 3,000-yard quarterbacks — AJ McCarron, Blake Sims, and Jacob Coker — and a Heisman Trophy winner (Derrick Henry). Alma Bryant is getting someone ready to mentor athletes with Taylor.

Crimson Tide fans are excited to see what he does. Alma Bryant is located in Irvington, Ala.
