The University of Alabama has six national championships in football under Nick Saban.
Before he arrived in 2007, Eugene “Gene” Stallings returned the Crimson Tide to national championship prominence in 1992.

Stallings’ teams were known for defense and a running game. His program was built on toughness and Crimson Tide fans loved it.
