Zabien Brown announced his commitment to Alabama football on Sunday.
Brown attends Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. He is consensus four-star recruit, and his commitment gives the Crimson Tide 12 2024 verbal commits. He is Alabama’s third defensive back pledge.
The California product chose Alabama over Ohio State and USC.

At 6-foot-1, Brown is a long defensive back, who is projected to be a cornerback at the next level. He displays great coverage skills with his ability to stay square in coverage and break on the football with impressive speed. He is also an effective tackler in space, who consistently gets lower than the ball carrier.
