Zykie Helton announced a verbal commitment to Alabama football on Sunday, July 9.
Helton is a 2026 offensive lineman out of Carrollton High School in Georgia. The rising sophomore is the Crimson Tide’s first 2026 commit.
Nick Saban offered Helton last month after he impressed at camp.
The 6-foot-3, 325-pounder is a versatile prospect in the trenches, who has the ability to play on both sides of the football at the high school level. He is athletic for his size and appears to have a huge upside as a talented prospect in the future.
