Casey Poe is set to announce his commitment decision on Wednesday, July 12 at 6 p.m. CST.
Poe will choose between Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, LSU, Georgia, Oklahoma and Texas Tech.
The Crimson Tide have been recruiting Poe heavily for a long time now. The Tide offered the four-star out of Texas in November and have managed to get him on campus a few times since then, including for an official visit last month. Alabama’s coaching staff has been consistent in their push.
“It’s been really good,” Poe said in May. “Coach Wolf has been by the school, coach Wiggins have been by the school. We’ve had multiple Alabama faces come by. Me and coach Wolf talk pretty much every day, through texts on the phone. I have been on the phone with coach Saban a couple of times. once in a while. We’ve been trying to build our relationship and get closer.”
