Members of national media have created top five lists for quarterbacks in the National Football League.
Jalen Hurts is on a few of them, but not the majority.

He led the Philadelphia Eagles to Super Bowl LVII and nearly defeated Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Hurts recorded an impressive third season in the league, totaling 3,701 passing yards and 35 touchdowns — including 13 rushing scores.
He improved tremendously as a passer and pocketed a record-breaking contract extension. Dallas Goedert, a tight end for the Eagles, feels Hurts is being disrespected. In a podcast for Pardon My Take, Goedert says Hurts is the No. 1 quarterback.

“I think Jalen has to be at the top, because if he is not, then you are trying to use his name,” Goedert said.

“I’m from Philadelphia, so he is No. 1 to me. You can say he’s got good talent around him, but he’s a dog. He is really good. I think he should be top three or top two. It is hard to take anything from Patrick Mahomes, but if you go down the list there could be ten quarterbacks that could be in the top five, depending on what fan base you are in. Personally, Jalen is in the top two.”
Goedert is supporting his quarterback, and nothing is wrong with it.
Hurts showed everyone last season he is dynamic and will continue to grow.
