Sanders played in the backfield alongside Hurts for the Philadelphia Eagles last season. He signed with the Carolina Panthers in March before they drafted Bryce Young as the No. 1 overall pick. Sanders was asked about some similarities he had noticed between Hurts and Young during a recent interview on the Rich Eisen Show.
“Just how they approach the game, very businesslike,” Sanders answered. “Like I said, he’s there early and he leaves late. He the last one to leave. He is trying to control, and he is getting a good grip of the locker room already. He is one of the guys that come to work every day in a good mood.”
