The highest rated uncommitted in-state offensive lineman, William Sanders is set announce his commitment decision on Friday, July 21 at 3 p.m. at Brookwood High School.
Sanders will choose between Alabama, LSU and Mississippi State. All three schools have Sanders’ interest heading into his decision.
“LSU is a great school with a great environment,” Sanders said. “The coaches and players seem to interact well, much like at Alabama, neither seem to be much like the “machine” people say they are. As for Mississippi State, you get that smaller town feel and a great sense of a blue-color mentality but a super extreme football feel, definitely a place where football is important, but football is important to all these schools’ towns.”
The rising senior is ultimately looking for the best fit for him.
“Those are all three great schools, and I think at that point it just boils down to me evaluating myself, then further evaluating them and putting the two together,” Sanders said.
At 6-foot-3 and 295 pounds, Sanders is a physical run blocker, who currently carries a little to no bad weight. He moves well in space, but he wants to work on consistently being disciplined in his technique.
