William Sanders is fresh off of a commitment announcement to Alabama and is ready to continue working towards being the best he can be.
Moments after announcing his commitment, Sanders stated he wanted to show why he was going to Alabama on the football field this upcoming season.
The founder of Winning Edge OL/DL Training Terrance Swift is expected to help Sanders with that goal. Swift, who did a lot of hands-on training with Sanders before he camped and earned offers from Alabama, LSU and Mississippi State in June, feels the Tide are getting a guy, who is ready to go to work.
“They are getting a great kid they can depend on and be on time for class, to do things in the weight room, be a great academic student to make their team better overall,” Swift told Touchdown Alabama. “So, that’s first off. But on the field, they getting somebody that’s going to be physical, going to be coachable and somebody that is going to come to work day in and day out.”
Sanders is listed at a lean and mean 6-foot-4 and 295 pounds. His film is filled with nasty blocks in space as he pulls and becomes dangerous as an open-field blocker. There is no doubt about Sanders potential as an interior offensive lineman. Swift feels the Alabama native will have to focus on perfecting the smaller things to reach his full potential.
“The small thing you have to keep working on, keep working on that,” Swift said. “It’s never a time you are going to be perfect. So, we want to just keep improving on the small things, the pass sets, getting back, make sure we use our hips, elbows, being inside, small things like that.”
