Daron Payne gave back to his hometown high school last week as the Washington Commanders defensive tackle donated $100,000 to Shades Valley High School athletic department.

Payne also had his No. 94 jersey retired by his alma mater during a ceremony on campus.

Since his high school days, Payne has morphed himself into one of the top defensive tackles in the NFL as he recently signed a four-year $90 million extension just a few months ago.
